This was our project proposal video that showed our end goal; we wanted to create an alarm clock that interacts with the user through speech recognition and speech synthesis. It should do such things as read the news and play math games with the user to gradually awake him/her. We thought this could be very useful at Princeton University, where people are often very sleep deprived.

This was our demo of the actual product we made by the deadline. We have the alarm clock go off at a chosen time until the user says "stop." Then we have it read the weather for a specified zip code (using weather.com), and it begins to play a math game with the user (ask the user to do simple multiplications) until it determines that the user is awake (enough correct answers). After this, we read the news from a specified RSS feed.
